Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Completion and evaluation of the New
Normal Memorial commissions for artists.
This major project that started in very difficult
times was concluded successfully, with all
the participants benefiting from the support
and expertise given. It gave people the
confidence and help to move forward with a
sense of community, especially in light of the
economic and emotional impact of Covid 19.
Our ongoing participation in Civic Futures,
Consortium and networking forums to share
our experiences enabled policy makers to
have more insight to create positive change
to benefit society.
Our collaborations with the University of
Greenwich, Autograph, Sound and Music,
Oram awards, arts organisations and
advisors continued with online and in person
exhibitions, talks and meetings. These
ongoing relationships help to develop
capacity and knowledge to open up services
and skills to benefit communities.
Our online one to one training and
mentoring, supporting artists with project
proposal writing, grant advice and
evaluations, enabled people to plan and
create projects for the benefit of the public.
This was especially important as austerity
and the pandemic has taken its toll on some
of the most vulnerable.
“Walks in the Chilterns” was a test project to
explore and experience the outdoors with a
group of people who would normally not
venture out of the urban environment. There
was a sense of achievement forparticipants

overcoming their fears of not being accepted in the countryside and we hope to expand on this. Developing bio-diversity and ecology test projects for future activities for the public. Working with an equine therapist and an award winning eco gardener to research new projects on a farm to involve bullied young people.
