CH5 4BH ## **TRUSTEE’S NAMES** Angela Roberts Samantha Kennedy Kelly Hughes ## **Financial year 01/09/2021 to 31/08/2022** Kelsterton under 5’s is a charity run daycare for children from the ages of 2 to full time school age. We offer sessions from Monday-Friday term time only which run 9 to 11.45 and 12.15 to 14.45, we also offer extended sessions which also includes wrap around care for the local primary school 9.00 to 14.45, we also offer a pick up and drop off service. The aim of Kelsterton Under 5’s is to provide high quality care that enhances the development, care and education of children aged between 2 years old to starting full time school, in a safe and stimulating environment. Numbers of children accessing the group have slightly increased since last year, but has not reached the numbers that attended before the pandemic. Staff relevant certificates are up to date continue to develop their learning by attending the relevant courses online and by zoom. (dbs,first aid, safe guarding etc). Our staff are excellent role models and the continued training only helps to enhance their understanding , care and development. At Kelsterton under 5’s we continue to focus on the well being of the children, parents and staff. We gather information from all sources and elevate and implement any improvements where necessary. Through our daily observations we are able to identify next steps in their development, behaviour and social skills. At Kelsterton we continue to develop our outdoor learning area, this has been achieved through the grant system from the Childcare offer, and has enhanced the childrens learning in a safe and secure environment. Part of the grant will not be used until sept/oct as waiting stock and time slot for fitting. (New Kitchen) £7,565.40. We accept children who qualify for Flying Start, and also the 30 hour childcare offer. During this financial period monies received was £68,354.00 from private fees, flying start, childcare offer for those children eligible we also received grants from the local government and childcare offer. We paid out £56,906.82 in wages, rent, insurance, data protection, dbs checks, equipment, grant work and perishables and cleaning products. Which leaves a profit £11,447.18. No fundraising events were caried out this year.
