Kelsterton under 5's is a charity run playgroup. We offer playgroup sessions Moday - Friday, 9.00-11.45 and 12.15-2.45, we also offer an extended session where children stat for lunch which runs daily from 9.00-2.45. We also offer wrap around care for children attending the local primary school, offering pick up and drop off service.
We accept children who qualify for Flying Start funding, and also the 30 hour childcare offer. We made the decision that from September 2019 we would no longer offer Early Entitlement.
During this financial period we made £57,548.75 from fees, flying start, Early Entitlement and the 30 hour childcare offer for those children eligible. We received a small claims grant through the local authority in conection with the 30 hour childcare offer(£9996.00). We also made a small commission through photographys of the chidren.
We paid out £64,106.17 in wages, rent, insurance, dbs checks and data protection, and a further £12,050.57 in renovation work, and furniture and equipment once completed. this acheived through
the grant. This financial year due to closure through covid 19 on the 23rd March 2020, we made a loss of £7,721.42. We aim to have £7,000.00 in reserve in the unlikely event of closure or redundancy.
No fundraising events were carried out this year due to closure.
