Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The current major project is to raise funds for the restoration of the organ, which has been approved by the Church of England. The cost is estimated at £75,000.00. The PCC is seeking grant aid and hopefully the funds which we can make available, combined with theirs will help with any matched funding requirement. Obviously at the current rate of turnover, it will take some time to achieve this goal. A number of other capital projects are in the pipeline. The charity funded the provision of lights for the choir stalls and tables for use at charitable events. These are available for the general public to hire in aid of the church. Our aim is to broaden the appeal of the Church to the wider public beyond just the use of the building for worship. |
