providing high quality music performances for the enjoyment
and educational enrichment of local audiences.
We have been able to follow our normal pattern of concerts
using St Barnabas’ Church for two concerts and Leighton
Buzzard Library Theatre for the other six.
Attendances at our concerts achieved an average of 62 per
concert.
To encourage music making by local young people we make
an annual award to outstanding students attending the
Leighton-Linslade Music Centre held every Saturday at
Vandyke Upper School. The centre is run by Central
Bedfordshire council’s music service “Inspiring Music”.
This award will be made at the end of this Summer term.
To encourage young people to attend classical music
concerts, we offer_free_tickets to all school students.
The wide variety of music and composers, contemporary and
diverse as well as classical, that we offer demonstrates our
commitment to broadening the musical experience of our

payments but these have been resolved. The cost of hire has
increased 33.3% for the coming year and consequently we

ticket sales but it is highly unlikely the charity will not
