## **Achievements and Performance** 

||Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The eight concerts outlined above show our commitment to<br>providing high quality music performances for the enjoyment<br>and educational enrichment of local audiences.<br>We have been able to follow our normal pattern of concerts<br>using St Barnabas’ Church for two concerts and Leighton<br>Buzzard Library Theatre for the other six.<br>Attendances at our concerts achieved an average of 62 per<br>concert.<br>To encourage music making by local young people we make<br>an annual award to outstanding students attending the<br>Leighton-Linslade Music Centre held every Saturday at<br>Vandyke Upper School. The centre is run by Central<br>Bedfordshire council’s music service “Inspiring Music”.<br>This award will be made at the end of this Summer term.<br>To encourage young people to attend classical music<br>concerts, we offer_free_tickets to all school students.<br>The wide variety of music and composers, contemporary and<br>diverse as well as classical, that we offer demonstrates our<br>commitment to broadening the musical experience of our<br>audience.|
