At an online meeting of trustees on Monday, 1[st] June, 2020 it was agreed to continue the suspension of the charity’s activities and planning during the Covid crisis. It was agreed that, because of uncertainties as to when it would be possible to mount projects involving in-person group projects, we could not make formal plans to do so, nor should we fundraise until we could be confident that projects could go ahead. Trustees remained in touch informally and monitored the situation, meeting formally again on March, 21[st] 2021 and agreeing to continue the suspension until government guidelines indicated that gatherings could happen safely.
Trustees also took a decision to extend the board of trustees, inviting new trustees to reflect greater diversity. Because of the abnormal situation and the suspension of activities, existing trustees agreed to continue in their current roles. New trustees will be invited during the coming year and we are reviewing possibilities meanwhile.
Once again It is hoped that we will be able to regain momentum when the current pandemic has ended and faceto-face activities can be resumed.
