ANNUAL ACCOUNTS TO 30[TH] JUNE 2023 

The aim of the Charity is the same as Lions international and that is:- 

“To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.” 

This year has been one of rebuilding our presence in the community and trying to find new ways of raising funds to help those in need. Due to falling numbers this restricted the number of Santa’s Grottos we were able to put on this year and so income was considerably lower than previously. 

Our Peace Garden project has been slow to progress although we now have the funding from generous donations by the public. It is hoped this will be completed in late 2023 or early 2024. 

We have been able to support a number of worthy causes during the year and hope to be able to continue this good work to a greater degree next year.
