## **Achievements and performance** 

||Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Domestic abuse figures continue to escalate and during<br>the year, the organisation provided support to 2265<br>women in and around the Wythenshawe area. Support<br>included practical assistance when moving out of<br>Refuge, moving out of area, sourcing household items,<br>and providing food & toiletries where required.<br>Twice weekly Freedom Programme group session were<br>added to the portfolio of regular Coffee Morning<br>sessions, Healthy Relationships, Confidence Building<br>and Arts & Crafts sessions.<br>This gave more women the opportunity to access our<br>‘add-on’ services.<br>Weekly Legal Advice Drop-In sessions resumed, giving<br>women who either needed to talk through a situation,<br>or, needed to commence a legal process, the<br>opportunity to do so in a safe environment.<br>All one-to-one appointments proved to be valuable in<br>allowing time to deal with more complex trauma cases.<br>Practical advice and skills were provided to support<br>services users live happy, safe and sustainable lives.<br>Local partnership working with Police, Social Services,<br>Schools, Housing, Food banks and other organisations<br>continue to be invaluable.<br>The organisation continues to provide multiple methods<br>of contact for service users, including:<br>Website, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Email,<br>Telephone and safe face-to-face appointments where<br>appropriate.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **31 / 03 / 2022** . 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
