TRUSTEE’S REPORT
The Trustees set out their report for the organisation for the year ended 31[st] December 2021.
Object of the charity
The objects of the CIO are the advancement of the arts and of education in the arts for the public benefit in Africa, in particular but not exclusively by: (a) providing artistic workshops; (b) creating permanent learning and exhibition spaces; and (c) organising local public events.
Review of activities
The organisation did not carry out any activities during the period.
Trustees
The Trustees of the organisation during the year and since the year end were as follows:

Trustee responsibilities
Company law requires the trustees prepare accounts for each financial year which give a
true and fair view of the affairs of the organisation and of the surplus or deficiency of the organisation for that period. In preparing those accounts, the trustees are required to:

select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently

make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent

prepare the accounts on a going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the organisation will continue in operation
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the organisation and to enable them to ensure that the accounts comply with the Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the organisation and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
This report has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions for small companies under ss 381-4 of the Companies Act 2006.
