Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

Bonded Thru Cancer’s (BTC) primary focus is to preserve and protect the health and wellbeing of cancer patients and their loved ones in London and surrounding areas. This is achieved by raising awareness among the public and medical professionals about the emotional and wellbeing needs of individuals diagnosed with cancer and their families. BTC also provides direct support by befriending cancer patients and offering assistance during and after their medical treatment.

Trustees of Bonded Thru Cancer have actively volunteered as buddies to cancer patients, providing vital support by accompanying them to medical appointments and offering a safe space for counsel and emotional comfort. These efforts ensure that beneficiaries receive both practical and emotional care during one of the most challenging periods of their lives.

In carrying out these activities, the trustees have had full regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit, ensuring that all actions align with Bonded Thru Cancer’s objectives and deliver meaningful support to the community.
