**Objects:** TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH OF CANCER PATIENTS AND THOSE THAT ARE CLOSE TO THEM IN ENGLAND AND WALES BY:-A)EDUCATING THE PUBLIC AND THE MEDICAL PROFESSION ABOUT THE EMOTIONAL AND WELL-BEING NEEDS OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER AND THEIR FAMILIES; ANDB)BEFRIENDING CANCER PATIENTS AND SUPPORTING THEM DURING AND AFTER THEIR MEDICAL TREATMENT.

**Activities:** BTC preserves and protects the good health of cancer patients and their families in England and Wales. We do this by educating the public and medical profession about the emotional and wellbeing needs of cancer patients and their families; and by befriending cancer patients as well as their families during and after their medical treatment.
