We have continued to grow our membership, by the end of the period we had increased to 16 members. We had wonderful feedback from our members who, after lockdown appreciated the value of our weekly get togethers. To further enhance the feeling of community and support in the group we have had regular meals out. As part of our links to the community we attend a monthly meeting of the Community group forum for Otley, where we share ideas and gain insights into how we can continue to be seen as part of the community. Our reputation for quality work continues and we have been further developing our links with the local wildlife groups, the local town council- refurbishing street furniture. Amongst the highlights in this year: Partnering with a company called Tite Fix providing us with screws and wood. Making Sets for a local amateur dramatic group. Working with Otley Courthouse refurbing equipment. Making a Christmas Lighting box for Otley Town Council. Providing notice boards for a local charity Helping local OAPs with minor tasks. Taking Part in Otley Green Fair Taking part in Leeds 2023 campaign Providing Repair services including Chairs, Vacuum Cleaners and sundry items Partnering with Remap, a Disability Charity, adapting equipment for disabled people. Continued our partnerships with Local Wildlife Groups and other community groups |
