## **Achievements and Performance**

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|**We Slowly Opened up after Lockdown, with 6**<br>**members per session as per guidelines. All those who**<br>**attended took a Lateral Flow Test and shared results**<br>**on WhatsApp.  As restrictions were eased we followed**<br>**the guidelines and gradually opened up to more**<br>**members but continued to test and take precautionary**<br>**tests before attending.**<br>**When we opened up we had a number of members**<br>**who chose not to return and one who left for Scotland.**<br>**The numbers shrunk to 12 members.  During the**<br>**subsequent months we gained some new members a**<br>**number of these from referrals for health reasons.**<br>**We have continued to work with other local charities to**<br>**provide wildlife equipment- Hedgehog Pods and Bird**<br>**Boxes and provided skilled personnel in support of a**<br>**‘Repair Shop’ facility enabled by another charity.**<br>**Members worked individually on shared projects and**<br>**produced the requested items.**<br>**The WhatsApp group continued to provide a forum for**<br>**the members to share technical tips, but mainly to**<br>**provide support as we moved in and out of various**<br>**lockdowns.**<br>**As we returned to more normal activities we engaged**<br>**in a number of projects.**<br><br>**Rebuilt a Butterfly Friendly Garden for a local**<br>**school, in collaboration with The Town Council,**<br>**Otley Lions and a local garden centre.**<br><br>**Supplied and fitted a number of Swift Boxes for**<br>**the local Wildlife group**<br><br>**Provided a rear-view mirror for a motability**<br>**scooter which enabled the user to be more**<br>**confident in getting out and about**<br><br>**Designed and built an elephant for use by local**<br>**schools to celebrate culture in the local town**<br>**Our reputation for quality finish meant we were**<br>**commissioned to make private sales for wildlife**<br>**equipment to support the groups income.**<br>**As a group we offered our members**<br><br>**The opportunity to talk to each other in a safe**<br>**environment about themselves**<br><br>**Support for a number of members who had**<br>**mental health issues on a one-to-one basis**<br><br>**Supported each other via a variety of**<br>**communication routes during Lockdown**<br><br>**Initiated training for two members in PAT**<br>**Testing**|
