**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION (THE OBJECTS) IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY:1) DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL2) ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

**Activities:** Friends of Thakeham School work together with parents, staff and pupils to hold various events in the school and community.  We hold events as Christmas Fayre, run stalls at Thakeham village day, hold movie nights and discos. We then use funds raised to contribute to a range of goods and services to help advance the education of pupils at school.  We have purchased playground equipment & laptops.
