ArchaeoLink liaises between researchers and the communities in which they work to assist these communities to obtain sustainable educational societal and economic benefits from their own archaeology and heritage.
ArchaeoLink has begun running monthly Metal Detecting sessions for the community of Clare, Suffolk.
As part of the Clare Council Youth Initiative the activities are aimed at young people. As of 30/9/25 there are 53 members including 18 youngsters.
ArchaeoLink was involved in planning and producing displays on Metal Detecting and Test-Pitting for Archaeology Day exhibition held in Clare in September 2025.
The Project Director has indicated her wish to retire and attempts are being made to find a replacement.
