|||prizes. During these events, our Trustees and volunteers<br>were able to|
|||communicate<br>with the public and share informabon<br>on the plight ofapex|
|||predators<br>and our ongoing efforts with Safina Lion Conservation<br>Fund to|
|||support<br>wild lions.|
|||Free material such as games and puzzles and cohurtng sheets were|
|||given out during these events tothe general<br>pubfic in support ofour|
|||educational<br>aims.|
|||Tofurther support this years fundraising<br>campaign,<br>Trustees and|
|||volunteers<br>ofApex Extreme and aTrustee from Safina Lion Conservation|
|||Fund Joined forces to corn phte asponsored 23kihmetre Walk for Lions|
|||and litter pick. The 23 km walk was undertaken<br>to represent the number|
|||W wild lions populations.<br>Walk for lion promotional<br>T-shirts were designed|
|||and printed atthe expense ofthe Trustees own personal funds to|
|||promote the event with Safina Lion Conservation<br>flyers detailing the|
|||support for wild lions were handed<br>out tothe public along the way. An|
|||extensive<br>litter pick was conducted<br>along the way as part ofApex|
|||Extreme's 'Take Out The Trash Campaign'<br>in support ofthe local wildlife|
|||and their mosystems.|
|||The full amount off1900was donated to Salina Uon Conservafion<br>Fund|
|||to help pay for lion radio collars and support the conservation<br>ofwikt lion|
|||populations.<br>Our continuous<br>collaboralion<br>with the charity allows Salina|
|||Uon Conservation<br>Fund to provide ils charity parlners<br>with the vital|
|||recourses to monitor and protect wild lions.|
