The relief of children who are in
need by reason of their age, ill
health or disability, social or
economic circumstances or other
disadvantage in particular but not
exclusively by providing clothing,
educational supplies and health
provisions.|
|Summary of the main
activities in relation to those
purposes for the public
benefit, in particular, the
activities, projects or
services identified in the
accounts.|Para 1.17 and
1.19|As we all know the pandemic of COVID-19
impacted the world from January 2019
onwards. Our charity therefore had to make
a range of decisions about the activities
that we carried out this year. The first
significant decision that we made was to
not run our annual educational summer
camp for refugee children in Lebanon. This
was as a direct result of the pandemic not
allowing us to organise this project and it
not being safe to bring together so many
people.
We therefore focused our efforts on the
following projects:

Ramadan 2020 Fundraising
campaign

Partnership with Blackburn UK Trust
to deliver food packs in Gaza,
Palestine|

|||
Sadaqa campaign (via Launchgood)
where funds were raised to be spent
on providing food support for the
needy in Palestine|

|Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.|Para 1.20|Our main achievement during this period
was our partnership with Blackburn Trust
UK. They sent us $27,134.60 to be used to
provide food packs for the neediest people
in the Gaza Strip, Palestine. Through this
funding we were able to support some of
the poorest families in the most
marginalised areas of Gaza and North
Gaza through the provision of urgently
needed key nutritional food items.
-500 families received:
- food assistance (food parcels) one week
before the month of Ramadan
The project focused on the immediate
response to the needs of poor and
marginalised families in Gaza to have food
before the beginning of the Holy Month of
Ramadan.
The project created a positive impact on
the lives of the beneficiaries throughout the
targeted areas in the Gaza Strip. It satisfied
an urgent and pressing need for beneficiary
families to secure their basic food needs
during that are necessary for Suhur and
Fitrah in Ramadan, given the already harsh
economic and social conditions of such
families.
This project created a positive impact on
the lives of the beneficiaries throughout the
targeted areas in Gaza Strip. The impact of
the project was positive in different ways:
•
The project has been successful in
meeting and responding to the urgent
needs of the targeted families in Gaza
Strip.
•
The project has provided affected
families with means to cope with their bad
circumstances and to provide them with the|

|•
The project has provided the|
