We had monthly reports**<br>**from Jarjeer Mule and Donkey Refuge**<br>**who, in turn have been helping other**<br>**smaller charities in Morocco during**<br>**lockdown. We are satisfied that**<br>**admissions to the Refuge has doubled**<br>**during this last year as many donkeys**<br>**have been abandoned, some of them in a**<br>**very poor state. Sadly there have been**<br>**several deaths due to old-age or such**<br>**serious injuries that the vet has had to**|





**intervene. The Refuge has also provided services to many Caleche horses in Marrakech who were starving as a result of the absence of tourists and owners loss of income. The Refuge continues to take mules and donkeys from various parts of the country such as Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier and south of Agadir. They undertake a considerable amount of outreach work and advise owners in surrounding area. Calls for assistance from Moroccans is increasing.**

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity ("the Trust") for the year ended 31/03/2021. 

As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act"). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
