## **KSCA Annual Report 2023**

KSCA enjoyed a good year, however, 2023 had some challenges with securing funding and grants.

An interim chairman was also appointed, who was in office until the AGM.

The highlights of 2023 include recruitment of 10 new members, who have actively participated and regularly attended meetings.

The association was able to fund the costs for members to attend 2 social events which included dinner. Both events were well attended and immensely enjoyed by members.

The association members were also invited to attend a Diwali event hosted by Sunny Sandher, of the Equality Commission; which members enjoyed as an opportunity to socialise within the community.

There was a holiday arranged by the association to Kos, Greece.

Members benefited from discounted travel, which was self-funded. We stayed in a 5-star hotel, which was all inclusive, for 7 nights and the trip was enjoyed by all those who attended. There were members who had never experienced going on group holidays and they really enjoyed themselves.

The weekly yoga classes have continued, thanks to the funding secured by the grant.

We are encouraging members to attend the yoga classes for their health and wellbeing.

Last but not least, we held a Chai and Samosa event leading up to Christmas which was well attended and enjoyed by everybody.

Finally, in concluding the report, we welcomed a new chairman and also extended our thanks to the former chairman for his services.
