**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE BECOMING SOCIALLY ISOLATED DUE TO REASONS OF ILL HEALTH AND TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE BY:- RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES RELATED TO SOCIAL ISOLATION AND HOW IT AFFECTS THOSE WITH PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ILLNESSES;- PROVIDING EDUCATION AND INFORMING PEOPLE HOW TO STAY CONNECTED TO ILL FRIENDS AND FAMILY USING WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE;- PROVIDING WORKSHOPS, FORUMS AND ON-LINE TOOLS;- FACILITATING A NATIONWIDE PROJECT FOR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO WRITE LETTERS TO THOSE AFFECTED BY SOCIAL ISOLATION.

**Activities:** Education through workshops, discussion presentations, writing groups and working with companies to raise awareness of the charity.Production and distribution of material to enable and empower people to connect through writing Maintaining an up-to-date website and on-line presence to educate and connect. Distributing letters to hospitals and chemotherapy day clinics.
