Grants<br>totalling £24,874 were made to the GCA Sailing<br>Programme. The small surplus was carried<br>forward to the next financial year, for use in<br>pursuit of the charity’s objectives.<br>The GCA Sailing Programme provided<br>exceptional opportunities for state school<br>students from inner city London to develop<br>confidence and skills through sailing events.<br>The programme was impacted by Covid, but<br>continued a wide range of activities during the<br>year.<br>During the year, three new trustees were<br>appointed who brought specific skills and<br>experience to strengthen the charity. We expect<br>to increase our activities in the year ahead, and<br>raise additional funds for the GCA Sailing<br>Programme while also starting to build a more<br>sustainable foundation for our work.|
