Charlty Activities and Achlevements: WWS UK'S Trustees continue to be committed to its charitable aims complying with the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. With the impart of Covid and global lockdown still belng felt, activities remain limited. WWS UK has however assisted with the purchase of elephant friendly bins now posltioned within the Bannerghatta National Park. In partnership with local teams who have been cgnduclins antl-plastlc Urives to make the forests plastic free, It had been noted, post COVID. that some of the elephant thoroughfares within the park were subject to increased waste disposal by the commuters. The bins together with regular maintenance by the forest ground staff, have resulted in tonsiderable reduction of random waste on the elephant trails. Contribution made by volunteers: WWS UK have a team of committed volunteers and we, The Trustees, are very grateful for the hours they dedicate to making merchandise and spreading the word actively In the voice of WWS UK.
