|Summary of the purposes of the<br>charity as set out in its governing<br>document|The objects of the Club are such purposes as are<br>exclusively charitable in England & Wales; including<br>encouraging service-minded people to serve their<br>community without personal reward; supporting<br>youth to develop their skills, capacities and<br>capabilities; promoting the Voluntary Sector for the<br>public benefit; the relief of poverty and the relief of<br>those in need; promoting for the benefit of the public<br>the conservation, protection and improvement of the<br>physical and natural environment.|
|Summary of the main activities in<br>relation to those purposes for the<br>public benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or services<br>identified in the accounts.|The Club maintains a Local Nature Reserve with the<br>active assistance of several  volunteers; a weekly<br>youth club, for 12-18 year-olds; and runs a<br>Community venue which includes regular Coffee &<br>Chat mornings for Senior Citizens. Welfare grants<br>are provided, in confidence, for those in need.<br>Members continue to deliver Prescriptions and,<br>where necessary, food for those unable to leave<br>home. A small local business grant was also<br>obtained to help provide food  for Families who were<br>known to be in financial distress. The Club<br>organised, and funded, a free Fun Day for Children<br>and a free Community Tea Party, with<br>Entertainment, as part of the Queen’s Jubilee Events|
|Statement confirming whether the<br>trustees have had regard to the<br>guidance issued by the Charity<br>Commission on public benefit|The Club’ s aim is to always provide benefit for the<br>Community. Entry costs at fundraising events are<br>kept low in order to enable and encourage<br>participation; other activities are run on a non-profit<br>basis. This year, following the lifting of Covid<br>restrictions, members were able to reintroduce most<br>of our regular activities; the Club continued to help<br>the Community wherever possible.|

|Achievements against objectives set|The Club plans a range of activities, including free,<br>non-profit and low cost events. However, this year’s<br>Pantomime, was deemed too much of a community<br>risk due to Covid-19.<br>Members remained flexible and continued to help<br>the Community on a purely voluntary basis.|
