**Objects:** TO ADVANCE HEALTH AND RELIEVE SICKNESS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: A) PROMOTING COMMUNITY AND DISTRICT NURSING CARE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR NURSES AND OTHERS ENGAGED IN SUCH CARE DESIGNED TO FURTHER THE EDUCATION AND SKILLS IN THE CARE OF PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY AND IMPROVE CLINICAL PRACTICE. B) SUPPORTING RESEARCH INTO COMMUNITY AND DISTRICT NURSING PRACTICE, THE USEFUL RESULTS OF WHICH WILL BE DISSEMINATED FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.

**Activities:** The organisation  provides  education and  training for community nurses to enhance the care of patients in the community.  It also provides a forum to share information and good practice across the four countries for the the Advancement of Health & wellbeing of individuals in the Community. The organisation will also give educational grants to nurses working in the community .
