Achievements & Performance:

Number of churches registered CIO’s under the Executive Number of Churches in UK New Churches registered as CIO’s in 2021

The state of the churches remains healthy, however it is clear that due to the Covid Pandemic many churches are struggling to gain back momentum. The Livestreaming though effective and helpful has contributed to some members preferring to remain home and connect through the internet than be in church.

The Rotherhithe Conference was held in April (29 Mar- Apr 2) The Conference was their first after an 18-month hiatus. It was also staged during partial lockdown. The attendance was around 250 per night. Not including video sermons posted online only, the speakers were all local UK pastors including Pastor Nigel Brown. Out of the conference it was announced Gerhard Kobesti to Bremen, Germany, Leon Watson to Woolwich, Brandon Kwesiga to Stratford upon Thames and Everett Gnahore to SW London.

The UK Pastors seminars in May 13[th ] 15[th] had over 90 couples present. Strengthening the Hands of Gods ministers was the theme. Due to the travel restrictions and challenges – the main speakers were UK based instead of international. However after each message, an altar call and time of prayer was given, resulting in a great time of refreshing.

Throughout the year nine seminars /leadership tables and rallies involving the churches represented by the attending Pastors met. These were taught by Pastor Nigel Brown and Pastor Fred Rubi. Meetings held in Digbeth, Waltham Forest, Bristol, Northampton, Croydon, Rotherhithe, Sheffield, and Bury St Edmunds and Harrow. Both Sheffield and Harrow were new additions and brought an exciting dimension as more people had access to the rallies.

Leadership churches such as Croydon and Norwich also held Harvesters homecoming during the year, bringing in the Pastors and churches they oversaw. A real sense of unity was the result.

The Waltham Forest Conference was held later than usual due to the building of the new balcony. November 15th-19th with guest ministers Pastors Joe Campbell and Greg Mitchell. Over 1000 were in attendance with announcements of churches planted and various changes.

It was however sadly noted that Mervyn Labrosse had to resign from his position in Bournemouth due to cancer treatment.

Also to be noted was the passing of Sister Eula Robinson, a faithful Pastors wife in Harrow.

The Executive received a letter of resignation from Pastor Paul Boddy on 18th November. Pastor Paul since the beginning of the year had been struggling with his Mental Health. It was the position of the Norwich church council after having supported him for 11 months both financially and to the best of their ability emotionally, spiritually and with added professional support that he was unable to continue to pastor the church in Norwich. This was concurred by a meeting with Pastor Nigel Brown representing the Executive. Due to the sensitivity required and the concern of Pastor Boddy’s wellbeing, exceptional measures were taken to help him through and a new role of evangelist was presented during the Conference which both he and his wife Penny agreed to. It was deemed at the time that the role of trustee of the executive need not be affected but Pastor Paul Boddy felt otherwise and insisted on his original request on November 30[th] 2021.

In conclusion, 2021 was a year of rebuilding and regaining momentum lost during the Pandemic, the Pastors were strengthened and encouraged in their work through the years meetings, seminars and Conferences helping both on a practical and spiritual level.
