**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, AND IN PARTICULAR THE EDUCATION OF OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED FROM FULL TIME WORK, BY ALL MEANS INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, IN DRIFFIELD AND ITS SURROUNDING LOCALITY.

**Activities:** The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a network of local associations providing social, cultural and learning opportunities for retired and semi-retired people at minimal cost. There are over 1000 U3As, supported by a national organisation, the Third Age Trust, with over 375,000 members.Activities are run by and for members, who share their interests and skills.
