We<br>coordinated events organised by other<br>organisations to allow a single refugee<br>week publicity across the city and we<br>organised a film screening, jointly with the<br>University. We also ran two sessions for<br>local schools (free of charge). Alongside<br>Refugee Week activity we picked up on our<br>regular schools of sanctuary work,<br>supporting activities in primary and<br>secondary schools across the city. We also<br>further contacts with the central library<br>which became a Library of Sanctuary and<br>hosted the main refugee week event.<br>This year, thanks to an additional grant<br>from Brighton and Hove City Council we<br>were able to employ a coordinator,<br>Fatehullah Naserzai, for 2 days a week. He<br>has lived experience of seeking sanctuary<br>in the UK and is working extremely well,<br>coordinating all of our activities and<br>particularly engaging with refugee and<br>community organisations in the city.|
