Funding has been given to two
refurbishment projects this year.. replacing
the school hall wooden floor and replacing
the safety surface underneath the KS2
climbing frame.
The hall floor had suffered water damage
and was lifting in areas. which Greated a
health and safety hazard which impacted on
PE, lunchtimes, assemblies and clubs. The
replacement enabled full use and enjoyment
Df the hall for all children.
The old safety surface (loose bark)
underneath the climbing frame had eroded
away in areas and was messy for the
children. Replacing this area with artificial
grass over shock-pad has brought the
climbing frame back into use and is a safer
and cleaner surface for the children to play
