The PCC agreed a policy in 2019 of
transferring up to £5,000 into a designated
Church Fabric Fund to provide for future
works when surplus funds are available.
Our Quinquennral insFeCtion in 2018
1dentffj￿d some majcf work which wag
likety to be needed to the Church spire in
the next few years and this was reinfor
in the most recent Quinquennial in 2023.
We rxrried oul the work to the Church
tower and spire during 2024, which utilised
£17,084 of this fund. and have used the
opportunty to top the fijnd up by an
ditional £10,000 this year. The Church
Fabric Fund now stands at £20,916 and we
have plans to pui this tU4vards some glass
porch do￿ during 2025.
We also have a restr￿ted fund for Youth
Work which currentty stands at £1,272.
This has L3rgety arisen from our provision
for Y￿nger age children (Little Lambs) but
we also have plans to expand the provision
for teenage chiklren in 2025.
In temis of our General Funds of £70,063,
we aim to hohd sufficient liqupjty to cover
betr￿n six and tsvelve months of
expenses. before allowing for major one-off
repairs and any discretionary charitable
giving. We managed to achieve this in
2024. This should provide a cushion in the
event of unforeseen circumstances {such
as k)sing important donors) as well as
helping towards swific projects as they
arise in the futu￿.
