Evolve Housing Association is a non-profit organisation (Charity Incorporated Organisation) based in Nottingham City, established in July 2018 to provide affordable housing for those in need. We operate across Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire County, and the wider East Midlands region. At Evolve Housing Association, we are dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable individuals in our communities, including women and children affected by domestic vioLence and abuse, those who are homeLess, vuLnerabLy housed, rough sleeping, or sofa surfing, and individuals struggling with substance misuse issues. We have established strong partnerships with The Resettlement Programme and Nottingham City Council and continue to collaborate with housing providers to safeguard our clients and receive referrals. Evolve Housing Association has also been working on the "Alfie House Project," which aims to provide an alternative pathway for individuals leaving hospital who do not have a home to return to. Welcome to our Annual Report. This report covers the period from April 2024 to April 2025, showcasing our achievements, evaluating our overall effectiveness, and reflecting on our growth as a housing association since our establishment six years ago. We wholeheartedly welcome constructive feedback from both residents and stakeholders, as we recognise that it is crucial to our development and progress as an organisation. By continuously seeking ways to improve, we maintain the highest standards of safety and service for the vulnerable individuals we support. Our primary mission is to assist society's most vulnerable, particularly within the homeless sector. With the backing of Nottingham City Council, we are dedicated to reducing homelessness across Nottingham to the best of our ability. We are proud to contribute to the fight against homelessness in the city, a success made possible by the generous funding that allowed us to open Alfie House. We are deeply thankful to the donors whose support made this milestone achievable. Sincerely, I I I
Our management committee consists of individuals who have invested their time and expertise into Evolve Housing Association. Over the Last year, our project has made a significant impact by supporting asylum seekers from their arrival in Nottingham. By implementing a strong support structure, we have been able to address their immediate needs and help them maintain their tenancies whilst preventing issues from escalating. Through providing suitable, affordable, and secure housing alongside comprehensive support, we have helped asylum seekers build the foundations that they need in order to reach their full potential. Our personalised approach ensures that they can move forward with the life they aspire to, empowering them to integrate into the local community and to build positive relationships. By focusing on these areas, we have made a clear difference to the lives of asylum seekers, helping them to secure housing whilst also building a brighter future in their new community. I I I

Our Funders Nottingham City Council Thanks to the ongoing support and funding from Nottingham City Council, we were able to partner with them on the VulnerabLe Person's Resettlement Scheme (VPRS) to offer accommodation and essentiaL tenancy support to refugee and asylum-seeking families. With these tenancies managed by Evolve Housing Association, we were able to handLe all tenancy documentation, compliance certificates, maintenance, and conduct 12-week inventory reviews, ensuring tenants maintain high property standards. This collaboration has been crucial in helping us house vulnerable individuals and provide them with the stability they need. Additionally, the funding and support from Nottingham City Council enabled us to execute the goals of the Alfie House Project, which aims to support individuals leaving hospital. By creating tailored support and care plans for the start and exit of tenancies, we successfulLy helped beneficiaries transition into more sustainable medium- or long-term assisted accommodation. This not only supported their aspirations but also reduced the risk of re-admissions to hospitats. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nottingham City Council for their continued cooperation in making these impactful initiatives possible. Evo)ve Housing Association
