|Details of fund materially in
deficit|Para 1.24|n/a|
|Explanation of any
uncertainties about the
charity continuing as a going
concern|Para 1.23|The main risk to the charity would appear
to be the increasing age of its main
audience, with very limited attendance
amongst the young. The waning British
investment in musical education and
facilities, with waning audiences for
classical music and lack of recognition of|

the importance of music in people’s lives is concerning.

Resp¢¢tlve respon8ibllltles of Coun¢ll of Management and Examlner
As the trustees of the charity you are r8spon5ible for the preparation of the accounts,. you consider that an
audit is not required under s144{21 pf the Charities Act 2011 and that an Independent Examination is needed.
It is rny repsonsibility to..
Examine the accounts under s145 of the 2011 Act
- To follow the procedures laid down int eh General Directions given by the Charty Commissioners
(under s14515l of the 2011 Act)., and

8asls of Examlnerfs statement
My report is in respect ot an examination ¢arrEd out under s145 of the Act and in accordance with
directions given by the Charity Commissioners under subsecb'on 5{bl of that section. An examination
includes a revtew of the accounb'ng records kept by the COLJncil of management and a comparison of the
accounts presented with those records which is primarily limited to analytical prO￿dU￿ and to the making
of such enquiries of the council of management as was necessary for the purposes of this report. The
procedures undertaken do not constitute an audit.
Independent Examinefs statement
In ¢onne¢tion with my examination no matter has come to my attention..
WhiGh gives me ￿aSOnable cause to believe that in any material resFect the requirements to keep
accounting records in accordance wth s130 of the 2011 Act and to prepare accounts which accord
with the accountsng record and to comply with the requirement of the 2011 have not been met., or
to which. in my opnion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understsnding of the
