**Objects:** THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY AMONGST YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES LIVING IN TANZANIA WHO ARE POOR OR IN A CONDITION OF NEED OR HARDSHIP BY ORGANISING PROGRAMMES AND ACTIVITIES THAT:A) PROVIDE FOOD, LODGING AND GOODS TO SUCH PERSONS WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THROUGH LACK OF MEANS;B) ADVANCE EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING;C) ASSIST INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT; ANDD) DEVELOP LIFE SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES THAT ENABLE PARTICIPATION IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.
