The charity was set UP lo advance the education and opwrtunities for the pupils and staff of St Mark's CEP
School; and residents and children of the villag¢ of Hadlow DOW￿ East Sussex. In furtherance of this
objective the fund may provide and assist in the provision of such facilities. opixTrrtunities or items for
education (nol provided from statutory funds) as the trustees from time to time detennine.
Owing to Covidl 9 the charity has continued to focus on mental health and emotional wellbeing as there is
sttll a substantial need for this supporL working with Talkspace. We have also continued with the initiative
started last year for the school and community called "Creative Cultural Comlnunities" ("CCC"} which will
tocus on music, sports, art and science iniliatives. Having Iw) approached to assist a "Hadlow Down
Speed Reduction" project we have set &8ide £IO(K) in a designated fund for this until we are gtven any
specific requirements.
No grant applications were successful this year so we are particulaTI}' grdteful to Buxted Construction
Limited, a local business, who have supy)rted us since we IKgan this charity with an annual donation of
£5000.
Total receipts were £5147.56 COTllpTising= gross pareni donations £120.00 tUF] all of Nvhich was GiftAided

£201.17 fimd raising costs made up of £15.58 KiThlliDk charges, £63.20 bank charges ond £1 22.39 website

The deficit of receipts over payments was therefore £2833.61 and the end of year balance w&$ £21098.17.
The charity does not have any inv¢stments or loans. All funds are held in the current account but diwded
between "Unrestricted fimds" £9194.10; -Designated funds- 10204.07 and"Restricted funds- £1700.00.
