SL Andrew's Parochial Church Council (PCC) Iw the responsibility of co-operdling with the
incumbenL the Reverend James Alexander. in proinoting in the ecclesiastical paristy the
whole mission of the Churc￿ pastoral. evaug¢listic, social and ecutnenical. St Andrew's aim
is lo be Jesus centred
The PCC is also specifically respoLgible for the n)ailltenance of the fabric of the Church of St
Andrew's alld the chU￿b hall.
Our aim is to enable any V4'ho desir¢ to worship at our church and Fmd a home in our church
community. When platujing for aCti￿tieS for the }ear, w¢ haire considered the
Comjnissioners guidance on clwities for the advan¢cment of religtoo in particular, we seek
to enable people to live out tbeir faith as part of our parish community
Deanery synod
We havc one member on the deanery synod and three on the Diocesan Synod.
Pastor21 eare
Some members are unable to attend services because of age. sickness or sbieldi2)g. We see
that they are regularly vÈsited and ￿Vell assistan￿ 2s necusary. Other visiting happens as
necessary.
Famijies worker
Last year we said Cvoodbye to Ben Phillips our f￿nilieS worker who l)xs gone foThYard for
ordination at I)urtLam
Mission and Lvangelism
We have v&ious PTojects oVe￿e&s includin(F one famkly in Ugand& Our church gives
geneTously to these projwls. A small group 00 out on a Saturday into loca] ioilTh to hand out
Christian literature and eugacve people. The church mLoazine is distributed bi-n]onthly to
the whole *illage. Thcrc arc also a number of rnid-￿eek meetintss i¥hich membeTS and non-
m¢mbers of our chuTch attend for fellowship, player and bible study.
Financial Review
Total incon]ing resources in 2024 were £17i821 (in 202J £182,076 in 2022 £248,139) of
which £111,888 were UDTestricted (2023 £110,607 202? £1]9,749).
Outcsoings were £195:979 (in 202J £196,)06 in 2022 £165.190) of %￿h]Ch unrestricted
expenditUTe £108.865 (in 2023 £104007 2022 £96599) including £60,850 for the Parish
%hare (?02) £60,000 9022 £54,765).
Volunteers
The PCC is veN grateful for the servant hearte(]ness of all the volunteers who work tITelessly
behind the scenes in many ways to keep the church buildings and churcknyard in good Order.
This is part of our ministy to the village.

Thc PCC membership consists of the vicar, churchwardcD4 deanery synod rep. and ¢lected
tnembers of the Congregatio￿ who are on the electoral mll
The PCC meets bi-monthly. Sllb-committees advise onthe fabric and the cburch I￿ll.
The AGM was held on the 12 May 2024.

I report in respect of my examination of the Trusys accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in (2trying out my examination, I
