hartKwr. The trustees have decided to
increase memtership and race fees in

increases in the minimum vrdge WhI￿t
continuing to en￿Urage improvements in
participation. We ￿11 o)ntinue to offer a
reduced fee for 18-34 year okjs in 2025.

plannin￿lIsted building consent from

fortunate to benefft from a group of
mbers with relevant professKJnal skills
who through undertaknng voluntsry work
ha￿ greaty reduced the professK)nal fees
whic* would ha￿ been otheNse incurred
on tho p)ntoon pmiecL
The C￿b re￿ived planniig consent during
2024 frorn ComNYal Council for solar roof
els & as>xiated battery store, along
with a bar store. Again, much of Ihe
supportwig information was prepared free of
charge by professDnal volunteers within
the Ckjb. The bar store e￿n￿nI of this
consent has been implementsd. and
are ￿rren￿Y seeknng grant assistan￿ for
the solar panelthttery store.

The Club's slirmay suffered storm darnage
wi D￿mber 2024 and temporary repairs
were undertaken by volunteers and via
voluntary assistance from students from
Fa]n￿uth Marine Schts)l.
Similarly. the projects to update the finan
systems and ￿gOIng work to uwlate the
websiie and rrEmbership systems ha¥e
benefittgj hugely from the expertise of a
small number of volunteers who have gNen
so fredy ofthwrtime.

The Club has sU￿ss￿J11Y njn its full ra
programme of nearly 60 events throughout
the season, attracling competitors from
throughout the area. In tolal just 102 boats
raced in 11 drfterent cL3sses. Over the
season ¥￿ estimate that equates lo some
4,300 people out on the water and
pleasingty saw a good number of new and
young saikys among them. Our Tuèsday
evening racing remains the best supported
regular racing in the Harbour by far.

evening has been very strongly supported

number of sailing e￿nts ctsJrdinating

Thanks in part to the rdc4ng programme we
run and benefits of the clubhouse

membership numbers have in(¥eased from
425 in 2023 to 472 in 2024.
Much of the fO(￿S this year has been on
continuing the V•Y)rk to improve the
essenlial back-office systems to make the
lives of key volunteers eas*r. The
adoplk)n of the Xero acu)unkn'ng system, an
imprO￿d website and improved renewal
system represent mai?r achievements
again undertaken by dedicated volunteers.

trustees during the winter and specialist
