[1] To provide a range of holistic, culturally sensitive services for the communities of Leopold area with a view to improving the quality of life and enhancing community cohesion, community development and employment, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of a Mosque and Centre in Leopold area; [2] To further or benefit the residents of Leopold and the neighbourhood.
Objects: [1] To Advance Islam, In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of A Mosque In Leopold;[2] To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Leopold And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Ofsex, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residentsand The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advanceeducation And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisuretime Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power: To Establish Orsecure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain Or Manage Or Co-Operate Withany Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activitiespromoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
