||||Charity Eats and work with the Co-op.|
||||The biggest fundraisers<br>this year took place around<br>Christmas<br>time, as in|
||||the absence of our usual Christmas<br>Fair we had a range ofactivities to|
||||bring a little Christmas<br>cheer across the school. The usual suspects of|
||||our Christmas<br>Raffle and Christmas<br>cards proved popular —a hand|
||||designed<br>card or personalised<br>gift send to loved ones and a chance to|
||||win some ofthe fabulous<br>prizes collated through<br>the raffle seemed to fit|
||||what people wanted.|
||||Alongside these events we also reviewed<br>our role in keeping, Christmas|
||||traditions<br>going during<br>lock down. Our Virtual Santa was visited<br>by a|
||||number offamilies,<br>all who were able to recreate the magic of seeing|
||||Santa in their own home. Not a huge fund raiser for us, but an important|
||||way to sustain<br>FOSM connection<br>with the families that got involved.|
||||Last year, we were also awarded<br>some Co-Op funding<br>toward<br>updating|
||||and revitalising<br>the School Garden,<br>which everyone<br>will be able to enjoy.|
||||These funds became available to us this year, we' ve been actioning the|
||||first phase ofour Garden project in areas where restrictions<br>allowed.|
||||There's<br>lot of exciting opportunity<br>with this work, and next year we hope|
||||for it to become a way ofengaging<br>the wider school community.|
||||Covid 19has impacted<br>fundraising<br>everywhere,<br>and we' ve been looking|
||||out for other ways to raise funds<br>in partnership<br>with others. Initiatives|
||||such as Charity Eats enable us to raise fund when orders are place|
||||through<br>their app —whilst<br>low investment<br>in time and energy from us,|
||||we're hoping that initiatives<br>such as this could enable a stead trickle of|
||||income<br>in the future.|
