We provide provision for the playing of
football to 700+ players, adult and
youth. both male and female and
continue to grow year on year.
We are a 3 Star Accredited Club, part of
England Football.
We now have 7 girls teams playing
league football and this section of the
Club continues to grow.
We have a partnershlp with Cheltenham
Cricket Club and provide All Stars
Cricket for 5- 8-yearwolds and Dynamos
Cricket for 8- 11-yearaolds at our
Burrovts Playing Field.
We have excellent relationships with the
local University. Primary and Secondary
Schools In our area where we
encourage students and pupils to join
our club to further thelr outdoor
recreatlonal actlvltles elther as player or
coach.

BURROWS PROJECT
PHASE 1. Agreement was reached wlth
Cheltenham Borough Council {CBC) and
worked commenced on the club taking
over responsibility for and improving
the playing facilities and pavilion at the
Burrows Recreational Playing Fields,
Leckhampton. Cheltenham. A 21-year
lease and Ilcence being completed In
February 2022. Fundlng for the project.
which all passes through C8C, has
come from the Football Foundation

club obtained grants, private donations
and the club's own resources
accumulated since inceptlon in 1966.
The c05t of the project was £900K.
PHASE 2. Planning Pemiission was
granted to build a storage faclllty to
house equlpment to maintain the
pitches to a high level at a cost of £80K
wlth a further £60K required for
equipment. £57K of funding was
secured - £25K from both the Football
Foundation and Chettenham Borough
Council. £7K from GCC with the club
funding the remainder. An integral part
of the Burrows project was to run a café
from the pavilion, and ¥￿ sub-leased
part of the pavilion for this purpose
providing the club with a £1K monthly
income and sharing of utility costs.
PHASE 3. An Irrfgatlon system was
installed durfng the Summer of 2024.
