|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|We are recognised in the community as a<br>well-run, ambitious football club which<br>continues to grow year on year and are<br>now the second largest in Gloucestershire.<br>We provide provision for the playing of<br>football to 600+ players, adult and youth,<br>both male and female and continue to grow<br>year on year and are now one of the<br>largest clubs in north Gloucestershire.<br>We are an Accredited Club, part of England<br>Football.<br>For the first time in our history, we now<br>have three girls teams playing League<br>football and this section of the club<br>continues to grow.<br>We have excellent relationships with the<br>local University and Primary and<br>Secondary schools in our area where we<br>encourage students & pupils to join our<br>club to further their outdoor recreational<br>activities either as player or coach.<br>In May 2022, as we emerged from the<br>coronavirus pandemic, we organised a<br>local Community Bazaar attended by circa<br>4000 people for which we received a £10K<br>grant from Gloucestershire County<br>Council’s Build Back Better Market Town<br>Fund. This was supported by our local MP,<br>Parish Councillors, the Police and Fire<br>Brigade.|

Agreement was reached with<br>Cheltenham Borough Council (CBC) and<br>work commenced on the club taking over<br>responsibility for and improving the playing<br>facilities and pavilion at the Burrows<br>Recreational Playing Field, Leckhampton,<br>Cheltenham. A 21-year lease and licence<br>being completed in February 2022.<br>Funding for the project, which all passes<br>through CBC, has come from the Football<br>Foundation (£430K), S106 monies<br>(£355K), various club obtained grants,<br>private donations to the club and the club’s<br>own resources accumulated since<br>inception in 1996. The cost of the project is<br>£900,000.<br>PHASE 2. Planning Permission has been<br>obtained to build a storage facility to house<br>equipment to maintain the pitches to a high<br>level – estimated cost £60K with a further<br>£40K required for equipment. £57K of<br>funding has been secured - £25K from both<br>the Football Foundation and Cheltenham<br>Borough Council, £7K from GCC with the<br>club funding the remainder.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of th8 above

accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charitles Act 2011
(Ihe Act.).
I raport in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in cafrying out my 8xamination. I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charty Commission
under section 145(5)Ib) of the Act.
