The membership is made up of mainly older men but is open to all ages and gender.  We have one lady member who assists the treasurer.

## **Section C                    Objectives and activities** 

**Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document** 

Pembroke Dock Men’s Shed was established in 2014 for the benefit of members drawn from the surrounding area. The organisation’s purpose is to address the social, health and wellbeing for men of all ages and backgrounds living in South Pembrokeshire. The Shed offers a workspace where men can come together to work on practical projects and meet with other people of similar interests. Many older men lose some sense of purpose with the loss of their work role, loss of partner,

We have a range of activities for the members that can enhance their skills and satisfaction while socialising with other members.  The current activities are, amateur radio, woodworking and turning, computer training and gardening. The social side includes communal meals and trips to places of interest. 

The trustees planned to encourage more ventures with other community organisations. We have been working with the local town council by manufacturing new mayoral boards. Also meeting other local community organisations. 

We have organised trips to other Sheds in Wales and Ireland.

Section D                      Achievements and performance 

This year we have continued with the radio section and established **Summary of the main** classes recognised by the Radio Society of Great Britain. We are **achievements of the charity** authorised by RSGB to train members and issue certificates of **during the year** competence.  We have increased our wood turning and wood working equipment. This has further aided our repair and up-cycling activities and training of members in these skills.  We have started a gardening section as an outdoor activity and continuing with computer skills training.
