The main activities undertaken by the charity for the public benefit during the year were the advancement of the Christian religion, relief of poverty and those in need (through support of other Ministries) and the advancement of citizenship and community. ## **Activities** Emmanuel Church Droitwich hold regular Sunday services throughout the year. Teaching meetings, prayer groups and Open Doors (generally older members of the community) are held midweek together with house fellowship and periodic events like “bring and share” lunches after Sunday services, Christmas lunch and summer events. I report in respect of my examination of the Charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner’s statement** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: - accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or - the accounts do not accord with the accounting records I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. ACCOUNTING POLICIES** ## **Basis of accounting** The financial statements have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis. ## **Governance costs** Governance costs comprise all costs involving the public accountability of the charity and its compliance with regulation and good practice.
