The Sikh Welfare Team was launched in 2009 with the aim to help enhance the life of young
people in the local (x)mmunity through the proNision of recreational and leisure time activiti8S.
We offer a unique blend of educational workslM)ps. fun activities aTrJ S￿rtS which give young
people Ihe opportunity to develop their personal and social skills and empower them to
participate in %)ciety as mature and responsible individuals.

The charity has successful launched its 4th youth dub in Watford.
Futuro Plans
! We are looking to set up an Outdoor Retreat that will provid8 our young people with
,. pemianent home and a base for all our projects. As with our Current projects we caler for
'. young people aged 10- 18.
The SWAT- Youth Outdoor Retreat will be a provision for young people from all
backgrounds with the emphasise on enjowng th8 countysKle and connecting with nature.
l Facilities will include:
Glamping Tent's that sleep up to 50 p80ple (40 thildren & upto 10 adults).
Separate male female showers. and toilets.
Camp Fire.
Green House & Vegetable Patth.
Climbing Walll Jacobs Ladderl Zip Wirel Leap of Faith- aerial activities.
Atr Rifle practise.
Archery.
Fully Equipped Kitchen.
Dining Room.
Workshopl Arts & Crafts Room with project￿.
Games room with Table tennisl Pool tab￿ & popular garneboards.

| 8fKI fun experience. while learning new thlls. making friends, and developing confidence.
We will also offer a bursary so the project reaches those indiwduals who would otherwise
i not be able to access these kinds of servtces. Especialty in the Current dimate we would
priorities young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, deprived areas. children in Gare. ,
