The Trustees Report
The team was launched in 2009 with the aim to help enhance the life of young people in the local community through the provision of recreational and leisure time activities.
We offer a unique blend of educational workshops, fun activities and events which give young people the opportunity to develop their personal and social skills and empower them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
Objectives of our Youth Groups
Promote physical development through sports, recreational activities, and social events.
Connect with the outdoors and raise awareness on environmental issues.
Hosting workshops on subjects such as child abuse; substance abuse; online safety; bullying; depression & mental health issues.
Raise self-esteem and confidence among the youth.
Develop hidden talents and potentials amongst the youth.
Connect young people back to their community and culture.
We also provide a 24 Hour Helpline where young people can speak to a youth support worker in complete confidence. If required, we can then refer the young person on to the relevant agency that can further help them.
