t.38 Slnce Covid the charity has found il more difficull to
find volunteers. W& currently have eight weekly
volunteers who help with the café, or general
cleaning. These volunteers are either people who
are retired. Duke of Edinburgh participants or those
with special needs.

PAra 1.20 There are about 25 community clubslorganisalions
that Provide a multitude of activilieslfacililiesladvice.
Some activities continue lo go from Slrength lo
slrenglh, partlcularly our basketball club. We also
have some new clubslorganisalions who have joined
us. Unfortunately, there is Still a need for support to
children's mental health. Wè are still providing over
30 hours a week for this, Ihrough local aulhorilies,
and personal counsellors.
The Trustees were partlcularly Pleased when the
charity was awarded funds from the UK Shared
Prosp8rily Fund IUKSPF}. This has enabled th
charity lo..
recanlly $ngage a youth worker who Is working
towards good contacts wllh local schools and
providing a valuable spaca for the youth of
Haslemere to come too
extend the hours lttat ils associatèd café is open,
by engaging 2 more staff members and
purchase new loyslequipmenl for areaslactivRies
that improve the services provided,
A donation of £1,500 wss rèceived from tha
Shollermlll Great Vvar Memorlal Trust lor us8, when
rèquired, for a gardan shelter. This is currently in
restricted reserves.
A donallon of £500 for sports equipment has
onabled the cttarrty lo buy an outdoor basketball
hoop. Giving young people somewhere lo
pracliselmeet when the building itself is closed. 50%
of this donation still remains in restricted reserves.
The charity's local Wallrose store continues to give
financial support towards the cost of providing
freellow cost activities. These are particularly
Important during school holidays for families wrth
little disposable income.
A donation of £500, received last year has now been
spenl on setting up 8 sensory room. It 1$ malnly
Used by SEN childrèn and is proving popular with
Aullstic chIld￿n in particular.
Even the charity's premises are looking more
cheerful at Christmas due lo 2 donations lotallinL

also undertaken courses in first aid, chaperoning,
¢ounselling, safeguarding, and Level 2 for Food
Safely and Hygiene for Catering.
