We are registered for the ‘Childcare offer’ which entitles working parents to 30 hours free child care. We have a number of children accessing this.

We had approximately on 16 on roll attending playgroup, and 16 attending afterschool club.

We have provided a range of activities both using indoor and outdoor environments. The children have accessed stimulating resources in order to

enhance their social development whilst also improving health outcomes; with plenty of opportunities for outdoor play.

Environmental initiatives; we are moving towards paperless communications to reduce our carbon footprint. We share what we are doing with parents through our social media platform; facebook.

Total income for the year was £51,952 with our outgoings being £44,640

Our income this year came from attendance fees and our outgoings mainly on staff wages and grant spend. We did access a grant of £14800 which was spent on an outdoor area so that the children can access the outdoors in all weathers

## **Independent Examiner’s report to the Trustees or Woody Wrap Around.**

I report on the account for the year ending March 2023, as noted in the trustee report.

The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43 (2) of the Charities Act 1993 and that an independent examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to;

- Examine the accounts ( under section 43 of the act)

- State whether particular matters have come to my attention.

## **Basis of independent examiner’s report**

My examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given to the Charity Commission. An examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘ true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

## **Independent examiners statement**

In the course of my examination **, no matter has come to my attention;**

1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in , any material respect, the requirements;

- to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the Act, and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 1993 Act; have not been met; or

2. to which , in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
