Trustees are appointed by Alive City Church UK by a resolution passed at a meeting of the charity trustees. In selecting individuals for appointment the charity trustees are to take into consideration the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the charity.

**Objectives and Activities**
The Objectives of Alive City Church UK are:
- To advance the Christian religion in the United Kingdom & elsewhere for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, relief of people who are in conditions of need, distressed, aged or sick and public celebrations of religious festivals
- Producing & distributing literature on the Christian faith to enlighten others about the Christian religion.
## **Achievements and Performance**
Alive City Church UK is committed to delivering various activities and services to their members and wider community. We aim to create a space where individuals can come together at least once or twice a week.
We currently have approximately 20 volunteers who support and contribute significantly to the charity’s operations. Enabling us to complete our achievements and conduct various activities by sharing their skills, talent and time.
## _Some of our key teams are:_

- Hearts & Crowns (Women’s Ministry)
- Alive City Music
- Alive City Kids
- Alive City Outreach Team
- Alive City Media & Production
## _Sunday Services_
We come together once a week on a Sunday for our weekly worship service, which includes vibrant uplifting music and passionate speakers who share and enlighten on the Christian faith.
## _Friends and Family Sundays_
Every month with a 5th Sunday is our family and friends worship service, where we encourage members to invite their family and people within our community to come and join us. These service end with a fun activity that everyone can take part in both children and adults, we also provide a meal for all who attend.
## _Alive Night_
Alive City Church UK is not only a Church enlightening others about Christianity, but we have a passion to support entrepreneurs and creatives alike. So in June 2019 we established a yearly event called ‘Alive Night’. This is an event that provides platforms for Entrepreneurs, small businesses and undiscovered talent.

## _Groceries on Us_
Our Groceries on us service provides free groceries to those in need in our local community. This service also expands to delivering groceries to local schools for parents to collect and providing meals to local hostels.
## _Alive Groups_
Alive Group is a mid week gathering where people can connect through God’s word, prayer and learn more about Christianity in an informal way. It is a space where people can discuss life issues and gain basic support. Alive Group is also a time where people can socialise and get to know each other and ask questions that you may not be able to during a Sunday worship service. Through these sessions we aim to educate, grow together, build, strengthen and maintain community.
## _Alive City Kids_
Once a week we provide a space for children to come together socialise, play, get creative, have fun and learn about God.
## _Support: Sick, Grieved and Elderly_
For those who are unable to consistently attend weekly activities provided by Alive City Church UK i.e. because of sickness, lack of means to travel, lack of mobility or due to being elderly etc, we provide volunteers who make home visits to support these individual. In addition we also provide support to those who are grieved.
Due to the global pandemic that hit in 2020 majority of the charities above activities were adjusted or moved to an online gathering community.
## PLANS FOR FUTURE PERIODS
The Charity continues to explore ways of furthering its charitable objectives in an effective manner by ensuring there is an awareness of its services, and they are proactively seeking opportunities to be more involved in the community. The Charity seeks to provide services and activities that meet the needs of people in the community. These activities provide a positive change in the moral and spiritual climate of the local borough which reflects the charity’s Christian ethos and beliefs.
## **Financial Review**
In this financial year Alive City Church UK saw a significant increase in their outgoings this was a knock on effect of the Covid-19 pandemic. With many needing to isolate, some individuals loosing their jobs, coping with a reduced income and others trying to adjust to the changing restrictions. As a charity they were supporting more members financially as well as supporting individuals in the local community, doing their best in aiding them to meet their basic needs.
Moving forward Alive City Church UK endeavours to utilise their available funds to the best effect in the advancement of its objectives and serving its members and community.
