City Life Church (CIO) exists for the public benefit, the
advancement of the Christs'an faith according to the
Bapb'st Union of Great Britain's Dedaration of Principle of
1873 as updated in 19)4. and 1938. The CIO may
also advan￿ education and conduct other charitable
purposes in the United Kingdom andlor other parts of the
Worfd. It exists to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ that
through him may have salvats'on and etemal life.
This is done by loving God, reaching out and serving
people through various activib'es within our City, Nats'on.
and World.

2023 was a year of that buitt on 2022 with the
conb'nuation of growth and re-establishing what was held
back during the pandemic season.
Our Regular ser41￿$ conts.nued to grow towards
attendance numbers to that prior to the national
lockdowns. A pattem seen by many churches in our city
and nation.
Several courses were run and made available to the
membership and to the wider community such as Alpha,
Transfonned Life and Freedom in Christ. With cooked
meals provid&J.
We continued to regrow our celebratory Sunday morning
services and conb'nued WFth the online provision via
YouTube so that our regular attend￿S pnor to the
pandemic and new attendees could see a ftavour of
church lrfe prior to in person attendance, this included
events that ￿lebrated various people groups such as
intemats'onal Sunday. Communion etc.
Community based events such as Al Treat No Trick, our
altemats'vp to Halloween, the Easter Extravaganza, Carol
Services were'run in 2023.

Our regular weekly events such as love family for parents
and toddlers. youth & student groups continued to be run
in 2023.
The group for Senior Citizens 'Not Forgotten. flourished
in 2023 WTth the provision of pastoral ￿re, meals and
days out giving enjoyment to all of those attending. The
church would like to put on record their grateful thanks to
the "Community Funding from the National Lottery. for
their generous SUPPDrt for this weekly event
New events started in 2023 were 'Reffired' an event for
men both retired and ap'proaching retirement to share
their cOn￿mS anxieb'es and to provide a support network.
This is open to both thurch attenders and those from the
wider community.
You are not alone "YANA. was another important event
started in 2023 for those dealing with loss and
bereavement, providing a needed support neiwork and
pastoral care for some, again this is open to both the
wider community and church attenders
Our annual Conferen￿ "Gateway. was run in October
2023. This fvlfils our mission of City Life Church being
church to churches as over thity local churches were
represented.

Cty Life Church has no policy on Grant Making
Cty Life Churcii has no fixed policy with relation to social
investment programs, however it works closety with local,
nab'onal, and intemational organvzab'ons to meet needs
and support programs which meet the purposes of the
charrty, defined within its goveming document, where a
financial need is reqUI￿d to be met. This at times is
through funding centrally via the church itself or directty
by the membership.

the provision of received grants both from charity
organizations arKI other extemal sourc*s.

Wrth any organizats'on in this current recovery period post
paTrlemic, there is a heightened risk of financial insecurity
facing many organizations, however with the generosity of
our members and prudent fiscal management. we see no
prospect of any un￿rtaInties about the tharity continuing
as a going concem.
