the charity as set out in its

To develop good citizenship among
young people (5-18yrs) by helping to
fonn their character through indoor and
outdoor activities by teaching them
services useful to the public and useful
to them. whilst promoting their physical
and mental development. This will be
achieved whilst following the principles
of the Baden-Powell Scouts, Association.
To provide weekly meetings and
activities, including outings and camps.
Weekly subscriptions cover hall rental,
badges and equipment used at meetings.
Camp monies cover transport, food and
activities whilst away.
The trustees follow rules and guidelines
from a National Scouting Association. to
which this charity is affiliated. All
charitable work is directly for the benefit
of the members. There are no paid
mernbers of this charity. all monies are
used for youth work. A treasurer keeps
the accounts and checks expenditure via
submitted.

Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charivs trustees. you are reswnsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance wtth Ihe requirements of the Charities Act 2011
(Ihe Acr).
I report in resped of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all Ihe applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145{5){b) of the Act.
Independent trhe charity's gross income exceeded £250,000 and l am qualified to
examiner's statement undertake the examination by being a qualifjed member of linsert name of

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
disdosed below ") whith gives me cause to believe that in. any material
resp*ct.'
the accounting records V￿re not kept in accordance with section 130

the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the fomi and content of accounts set out in the Charities
