Hey Jude Annual Report April 23-24
The charity has been ticking over at a steady rate during the year. The majority of enquiries continue to be via email asking for advice on neurological, autoimmune and cancer related problems.
Some of the patients who live in the surrounding area prefer to visit as it is easier to answer all their questions in one sitting rather than numerous emails.
The housebound patients in our area are visited at home on request for which they truly appreciate. Advice and support over the year has included patients with carcinoma of the stomach, lung cancer, pituitary tumours, skin tumours, Parkinson’s disease, leukaemia, autoimmune vasculitis, unexplained urinary tract problems, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
The finances continue to show a positive balance and overall the charity remains in a healthy state.
