ELEA&LLTE. We were unable to file this report due 28.02.26 due to web filing
having a planned outage.
Th¢ Foundation conlinued to grow in 2024125 with mor¢ hours activated to assist students with sport.
Additionally staffing numbers increased in order to continue lo provide schools and sludents with certifi¢d
coaches.
The Foundation were awarded Siage 4 classification by Cambridgeshire County Council (highest level) for
their Alternative Provision programme.
We continue ofiering more asS15tancc for vulnerableldisadvantag¢d young people. building further
relationships in the Community.
We worked with (and helped) 25+ young persons over the academic year and activaied on average 210
hours a month of'Altemative Provision.
We worked in 20 junior schools and 5 senior schools. along with 2 x 6th Form College8 in the arei some
200 children pcr week enjoying various fonns of tag and touch rugby as part of PE or after school clubs.
Work continued at Long Road Sixth Fonn Colleg?e deliveringi ￿gbY for the college which culminated in
some of ihe Colleges first ever wins.
Also slarted a rugby program with Cambridg¢ Regional College - overseeing 75 and 15 a side games.
We continued working in 2 Special Needs Schools providing fun rugby events to Studenls.
The foundation was established as a charity on l April 2019 with the following objectives:
The advancement of education through sport of children and young peopl¢ in Cambridge and the
surrounding are& with ihe aim of:
(l ) Developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participat¢ in society as
independent, mature and responsible citizens- and
(2) encouraging interest in sport and promoting activitle5 leading to good health to help and educate
children between the agcs of 4 and 18 years old in physical activity and ex¢rcis¢ so as to develop
their physical and mcntal capacilies that they may grow to full maturity as individua15 and members
of society and their conditions of life may improve.
A mission was crealed to swnmarise these objectives:

2024125 has been the busiest y¢ar to dale for the Foundation. IncreasÈng staffin8 levels from 23124has meant
that we have managed to help more students with their Provision and have more suitable Coaches in Schools
to activate rugby progiranis.

Alternative Provision
Our AP progJran]tne g¥oes from strength to strength with record numbers in 2024125.
We worked wilh 30+ students who attended our Provision and we dev¢loped key relalionships to help these
students in education and the next steps of life.
Alternative Provision continues to be the building blocks of ail we do.
We are fully complianl and hav¢ been awarded the highest slagye possibl¢ (StagJe 4) by the local authority. All
coaches are first aid trained and have activated various CPD with the Local Authority.
Coaches also went in ￿ local Schools/Collegyes to help some gFroups with a Provision.
Tutor Doctor
We hav¢ set up a relationship with a Itol Specialist tutoring company which offers students in KS2 the
opportunity to be tutored on site, along with activating their sports provision.
A massive bonus for the Foundation.
This makes the Foundalion a one stop shop for students - study and sport.
AG First Aid
A partnership has been Set up with a local first aid provider who are qualified to tutor students ag¢d 14+.
This offers the students the opportuntty to be fully certified in First Aid - and begyin their tirst aid journey.
Certificates are valid for 3 years
Girls Rugby
We continued to promote and coach Girls Rugby various Secondary Schools, and arranged sponsorships
to tund this.
Tournaments
In 2024125 The Foundation hosted 2 x Tag Rugby Tournaments and I x U13s Rugby Tournament with the
local Schools Partnership team at Cambridge Rugby Club
Holid2y C8mps
A5 part of our associalion with Cambridge Rugby Club where we are based. 6 holiday camps took place
during the year with strong? attendance from the clubs Mini & Youth section.
Guest Camps
We continues to oversee 'guest' Camps at the Rugby Club (outside providers), which are very popular- 75+
signed up to participat¢.
U5s & U65 rugby

We launched our U5s and U6s program which saw 50+ children take their first Steps into the sport. The
training is led by qualified coaches and relies heavily on parent involvement.
Addiiionally it sets the foundations tor the next generation of players and coaches at Cambridge Rugby
Club, that may move up to join the Club's U7s program in 2025126
After S¢hool Clubs
Schoo15 - we worked with a number of Primary Schools offering rugby in After School Clubs.
Additionally a few schools used OUT Staff to Work with them in curriculum. We conlinue to build strong
relationships with local primary schools.
We also held school assemblies and activated fun rugby sessiuns to showcase the sport - helping to build
bond% with new schools. whtch will mean further opportunities in the future.
Secon
Schoolslc Ile
es - a number of Seuondary schoolslcolleges now use the Foundalion to supply
coaches tn their rugby program - we oversee girls rugby at 2 Secondary SchoolslColl¢ges and offer
opportlmities for competitive fixtures at tournaments at Cambridge Rugby Club
Sixth Forni Colleges
The Foundation conlinues to work with Long Road Sixth Fonn. and slarted footholds with Cambridge
Regional Colle&yc - supplying, qualified coaches to activate their rugby program.
Speci¥dl Needs School$
Once again (as actioned in 2023124) we worked with 2 Special Need Schools offering their students to learn
some fun rugby.
International Schools
More International Schools vislted the Foundation and experienced rugby ai Cambridge Rugby Club. The
Foundation supplied Loaches to ofter a taster of rugby for groups of foreign students that may not have the
opportunity io experienc¢ the sport.
Tl Rugby
Tl is the new rugby fonnat being promoted by th¢ Rugby Football Union - The Foundation is a lead in
pushing out the program in Schools. and something that will develop over time.
Mateh Day Experiences
Managing all administration and activation of Cambridge Rugby'sl 51 XV Match Day Experience with the
younger supporters.
Refereeing
As well as coaching in various schoo15. the Foundation supplied referees to matches and tournaments to
ensur¢ the safe and enjoyable management of rugby matches.
